Er. Sandeep joined IICPT as Assistant
Professor Food Science in May 2015 and he completed his M.Sc. in Food Science
& Technology from Ch. Devi Lal University, Sirsa and M. Tech in Food
Engineering from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology,
Hisar. He qualified UGC-CSIR-NET in December 2012 with all India rank 25 in
Life Sciences and also done an International Post Graduate course on Food
Safety & Technology in the year 2014 from The Hebrew University of
Jerusalem, ISRAEL. He is pursuing his Ph.D. from Department of Food Engineering
& Technology SLIET, Longowal, Punjab under the title "Studies on Ultrasonication
processing of different honey types and marker based identification of their
floral sources". He is having more than 6 years of teaching and industrial
experience, prior to joining IICPT he worked with ITM University, Gwalior M.P.
and Shoolini University, Solan H.P. He was with Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd.
Khopoli, M.H. for more than 2 years. He published research articles in national
and international journals and has undergone several trainings on food safety
and quality circle.
His area of research and teaching interest include development of non-thermal food processing techniques, cereal processing, bakery sciences and dairy technology.
