Dr.N.Baskaran is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Biotechnology at Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology, Thanjavur, India. He received his M.Sc Biochemistry degree from Bharathidasan University. He completed his M.Phil & Ph.D degree from Annamalai University with University Grants Commission (UGC) fellowship. He worked as UGC-Post Doctoral Fellow in Biochemistry, School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. He has profound knowledge on “Chemoprevention of mammary and oral cancer” in animal models and published several research papers in reputed National and International journals (h-index 11, i-10 index 12). He had presented and participated in many National and International conferences. He received Young Investigator Award for his best oral presentation in the 16th World Congress on Clinical Nutrition held during the period 12-14 September 2011 at New Delhi. He works as reviewer in many National and International journals. He has worked as Assistant Professor in Biochemistry at various reputed Institutes.
