Adjunct Faculty Positions
Specialization: Food Process Engineering ( 5 posts) , Biochemistry (1 post)
Qualification: A faculty retired from technical institutions or a person of eminence with a Post graduate or PhD qualifications having 10-15 years of experience from Industry/organization.
Food Process Engineering faculty – M Tech/ PhD with specialization in Post Harvest Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering or Agricultural Engineering / Chemical Engineering specialized in Food Process Engineering.
Biochemistry faculty: MSc/ MPhil /PhD with specialization in Biochemistry or Similar qualification preferably with academic work pertaining to Food Processing.
Desirable qualification: PhD in the respective disciplines
Experience: Any candidate for Adjunct Faculty/ Resource person having 10 to 15 years of experience from industry/ organization shall satisfy the following norms:
Teaching and research organizations of State/ Central government Institutions/ Universities
Central and State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
Reputed Industries
NRIs and PIOs working with reputed overseas academic, research and industrial organizations or having a demonstrated interest in Indian issues.
Age: Faculty shall be less than 70 years of age.
Remuneration: Maximum up to Rs.80,000/- per month (remuneration will be varied based on experience, expertise in the field and number of lectures taken and the total number of working days)
Period of empanelment: 6 months to 3 years based on the performance and requirement.
