Director, IICPT elected as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC)

Dr. C. Anandharamakrishnan, Director, Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT), Thanjavur has recently been named as the Fellow of The Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), United Kingdom. The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is the world’s leading community of excellence in chemical sciences and an esteemed professional body for chemical scientists. The designation FRSC is given to a group of elected Fellows of the society who have made major contributions to chemical sciences.

 Dr. Anandharamakrishnan’s expertise in the field of Food Engineering and Nanotechnology is well-known through his commended publications in reputed international journals. His research group is actively working on the nanoscale processing of foods for improved functionality, stability and bioavailability.
